Eric Bicknese

Eric Bicknese is a dually-registered investment advisor who specializes in advising investment property owners on how to identify and close on the most appropriate 1031 exchange replacement properties, while also helping to protect their assets against unnecessary capital gains and estate taxes. Eric holds Series 4, 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses and is a licensed real estate professional.

Eric is highly respected among his colleagues and has earned long-standing and trusting relationships with attorneys, CPAs, real estate brokers and Qualified Intermediaries, all who comprise the ‘circle of professionals’ so important to the successful execution of 1031 exchanges.

Since 1996, Eric has led over 500 client transactions at more than $1 Billion in Real Estate assets placed for investors.  As a licensed representative, Eric understands how important it is to have a view of a client’s full financial picture – including investment real estate – to properly create comprehensive asset allocations. He is a frequent speaker and educator on many real estate investment topics including, Delaware Statutory Trusts, Opportunity Zone Funds, Reverse and Improvement Exchanges and Special Entity Issues.

Eric Bicknese is a Licensed Real Estate Agent with Cranford and Linder, LLC, a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of New York. Through his relationships with listing agents around the country, Eric has been able to act as a Buyer’s Representative, helping investors fulfill their exchange obligations when a direct Real Estate purchase is part of the investment allocation. Cranford and Linder, LLC was founded in 2014 by Adam Young who has decades of experience as a Real Estate Attorney and Real Estate Broker.

Adam Young is a 20-year veteran of the real estate industry who has represented and advised clients as an attorney, real estate broker and registered representative holding Series 22 and 63 securities registrations.

This unique combination of experience and professional licenses has enabled him to provide specialized guidance to investors in the purchase, sale, financing, development and leasing of virtually all property types, which include transactions involving 1031 exchanges for net lease and Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) investments.

Adam has also been able to apply his knowledge of legal, business and economic issues to help real estate investors in more comprehensive aspects of their overall financial plans.

Adam is a graduate of Boston University’s School of Management where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  He received his Juris Doctor and Master’s in Economics from Syracuse University.  He is a member of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association.
